In freshman year, i got a 163 on the PSAT. In sophomore year, I got a 143 on the PSAT. Yeah, there was a party that day so I guess i got toooo excited. xp Two months ago I took a practice SAT test and scored 1630. Today I just took a practice test from the Princeton Review and I range from 1550-1670. Should I just give up hope now? :(

Btw, I'm a junior now.

I really don’t think practice tests will help that much. You have to go over the basics of EVERYTHING, meaning math, critical reading and writing. Worry about math and CR more though. So I would get PWN the sat math guide, the ultimate guide to sat grammar, and Direct Hits Toughest Vocabulary of the SAT.

It also depends on how much you’re studying. You have to study hard and consistently and take a ton of practice tests.
