Is it hard to enter Engineering if Undeclared Major?

Hi guys! I recently got accepted to the Warren College in University of California San Diego as an UNDECLARED major. However, I plan on switching over to Computer Engineering during my time there if I choose to go. Is it difficult to do this? If you have any tips regarding what courses I should take in order to do this, please don’t hesitate to share. Thank you all for taking the time to answer this question.

It is very hard to switch from Undeclared to CSE. You need a very high GPA in the required courses and even then it is not guaranteed. See link: http://cse.ucsd.edu/ImpactedMajor

@pipopito I’m in the same boat. ): Applied Comp Eng, got in Undeclared, and in Warren. Honestly kind of considering the other UCs I got into since it’ll save me the hassle of needing to reapply for the major (and possibly inability to actually get into the major). Maybe that’s something to consider for yourself?
