is it hot or what?

what a hot summer. and i have no air conditioning! oh no!

Ha, me either. It's so hot that I find myself walking into random stores just to cool down.

hot? this is the nicest summer in a while. i wouldnt mind if it were even a little hotter...

it's not too bad yet...it's only about 115 here in Phoenix should get up another 5-7 degrees in the next month.

76 here, norcal.

Ahh that's crazy. See, in the winter I'm all jealous of people in the south who have nice short-sleeve weather while I'm turning into an icicle, but I'm in nice comfortable 80 degree weather now, so I'll quit complaining.

Is it just me or did it go right from cold ass winter to hot ass summer. We had a foot of snow like the 3rd and 4th weekends of April and mid 90s in late May. This is ridiculous! I deserve 5 straight months of San Diego weather

Ths sun has even managed to shine in London this week!

It was around 85 today.

Thunderstorms to look forward to next week though :-)

I laugh whenever I read reports about hot temperatures in the midwest and northeast. Where I come from, 90 degrees in the summer is cold! As bern said, it around 115 degrees right now.

This year spring lasted a long time. It was really nice for the longest time, hovering in the 80s. Then it suddenly jumped about 20 degrees in like a week in late April.

101 is texas. i miss florida and puerto rico. even though they were way more humid, they're more beautiful and have BEACHES!!!

I like hot weather. I can't stand the cold. I basically go into hibernation mode during winter.

I am in NY and I can't stop sweating. I'm too used to cooler, Oregon weather. I always come home from work drenched, vying for a cold shower.

I ran in a thunderstorm today! It was a freakin downpour, but still great, I got so soaked, but I love running in the rain.. with the water squishing in between your toes..and that nice "rain" smell .. mmm. I had to start walking after a while though cuz my sweatpants became so heavy with water. But it's the best way to cool off.

Inland in the Bay Area is hovering in the 85-100 range.....gosh damn.

Inland in the Bay Area is hovering in the 85-100 range.

Here - about 75 at the moment. That's above average for this time of year here. Was 85 2 days ago...

you guys out in the SW: its really humid out here and in the mid 90's. much different but it probably feels about the same as 104-108 out there because of the humidity.

wishes it was hotter with less humidity

Here, it's been around 20-25C and fairly dry.

This is slightly off topic, but on average, what is Boston like in the summer? What about Chicago?

For some reason, my town has decided to have the hottest weather of anywhere else in the Bay Area this summer - it's been over 100 for the last couple days. I absolutely hate hot weather. My mom and I went to Carmel yesterday, and Bed Bath and Beyond today (to buy fans) to escape the heat. next week we're going to the mall and the movies! :)

Que: I agree I'd rather be here in 115 degree weather with less than 10% humidity than be in 80 degree weather with almost 100% humidity.

Dry Heat > Humid Heat
