I'm so hot.

It's so hot in my house, I feel like I'm going to pass out. Gah! I hate humidity

That sucks. Turn the AC on or open the windows or something.

Try hiding in the basement... I still need to put on a sweatshirt whenever I go down there to print something.

I honestly thought this post would be about your looks. :)

A cure-all is to dump your hair in the sink - in cold water, of course. It cools one down excellently.

meditate..

Take a walk in the park. :)

well the weather outside is frightful
but the fire is so delightful
and since weve got no place to go
let it snow! let it snow! let it snow!

it doesnt show signs of stopping
And i brought some popcorn for poo-pity-poping
with the lights turned way down low
let it snow! let it snow! let it snow!

shave ice& put it in a plastic bag and patt yourself with it.

How the duck did you go back down below 10000 posts?

Some threads that she posted in were moved to the Cafe.

OMFG I KNOW. I'm sweatin bullets over here!! I'd rather it be hot and dry than hot and humid ANY DAY.

what may help is having water hose fights with a friend, it's pretty refreshing to get soaked =)

I've taken like 2 really really cold showers, doesn't really help either, AC is the only thing that "lasts" . . right now mine's on around 60 F to cool this 80 F house, gonna try to keep it on before dad yells to turn it off.

Summer hasn't even started yet. :(

And I thought that Appalachia was supposed to be cool in the summer; futhermore, you are an Arab; I thought they could all withstand very high temperatures easily. Then again, it depends on where you spend most of your time.

So does being a Scandi make it OK for me to be like, "Ahhh! It's 60 degrees out, I'm going to die from heatstroke!" when it's 60 degrees out?

Heh, just came back from another shower. Nah he has a point, this town is one of the highest (if not, the highest) in Virginia, so they say it's "naturally air conditioned". But it doesn't cut it =</p>

Let's see, I haven't been overseas since . . . 2003? yep it's been a while, but it's hot and dry over there, not very humid. I guess that's compensated by temperatures easily reaching 45-50 C daily.

I've been studying/sunbathing on the roof lately, almost in direct sunlight, so maybe that's why I'm getting these "hot flashes".

No A/C? It's freakin hawt here, we broke a record yesterday. It was 94, felt like 99.

icantspellmyname, I've been listening to xmas songs too haha, I guess it's just a psychological thing that makes you feel cooler

well it's about 90 degrees here in Atlanta...needless to say, I've been inside asleep basking in the AC all day long...

hmm...what's weird is that we've been having generally cool, even grey weather over here in SoCal

It's about 91 here god!!!!!!!!!!!! when will this harry end! I'm in Detroit by the way!

It's 81 and raining right now. Yesterday got up to 93.
