I plan to visit next month and take a tour and everything. If I do this, will it be linked with my application? I know it seems like a negative when an applicant has not visited a school. If they will not be linked, should I notify them?

no, i've heard they don't even write who has visited and who hasn't

No, Duke doesn't track interest.

Since you've waited this long, keep in mind that Blue Devil Days are held in April for admitted students. It might make more sense to wait and visit then.

Are you guys sure? From what I remember, Duke does track interest (ie going to info sessions in your area, making visits, etc). Stunna, I'd be sure to stop by the admissions office on your visit and at least say hi. If your regional rep is around + available, you might want to ask if they can talk for a little.

Demonstrated interest is the tracking of a persons contacts with the school, such as the number of times you visited campus, the number of tours you attended, the number of times you called, and so forth. Duke does not take demonstrated interest into account when evaluating applications. Although we are glad that you may have visited our campus or asked us questions about the school, demonstrated interest is not an advantage in the admissions process.

I stand corrected! Thanks warblers.
