I have a 3.6 GPA, on track to have a 1400 SAT score, led a walk-out for gun violence prevention in 2018, a part of science olympiad and about eight other clubs, and I’m on track to take 8 total APs in high school, but I got a C in geometry my freshman year and a D+ in Algebra 2 my sophomore year. I am worried that these grades will stop me from getting into JMU. If you have any advice please let me know.
I think you will be ok - the GPA is a little low and SAT high. Regular admission I think you will get in.
