Is it necessary to have College Board send AP scores to all the colleges on the list?

College Board charges $15 per college and my daughter has 12 + colleges on her list so I was wondering if she needs to send them via College Board. She has sent the SAT scores and that came to a hefty sum and I am not sure if we need to do the same to APs. Anyone have any knowledge about this?

No, just self-report the AP scores.

AP scores are generally not used in acceptance consideration. Once your daughter has selected a college she can send her AP scores to see if she can get credit for some courses.

Even schools that consider AP scores simply allow you to self-report. Then after you decide to attend a school you send it your AP scores to confirm what you wrote on your application (and usually to get credit). If you're taking AP exams your senior year, you can send a score report to your school for free then.
