is it ok if I resume drop for my cousin?

This is my last day at work. At my firm, we have this internal resume drop system. It is basically a referral system for employees to drop resumes of people who are good enough to work at the firm. I have access to that internal system too.
Is it ok if I drop my good friend's resume there? He's going to be applying for full time next year. Or would they be like holy crap why did the intern think he can do a resume drop?

Why don’t you ask somebody at work?

I dont want to sound like an idiot?

^^I don’t think it’s an idiotic question at all. There must be somebody there you feel comfortable with that you can ask. I can’t imagine they would think it was a ridiculous question. I mean if the company was truly looking for the best qualified candidates and you felt your friend is worthy, It would be a shame not to drop his resume off and recommend him/her. If it’s a case where you’d feel like an idiot for even asking, then personally I’d hate to imagine what it would be like working in an environment like that.

You said they offered you a position there next year, right? So they clearly respect you. I say do it.

Is this person you want to drop off a resume for a cousin or a good friend?

it’s my cousin… i didnt want to specify but somehow i did it in the title lol

Just ask. I am sure no one will get mad at you for reffering someone who you deem qualified.
