I never did well in Spanish, and although I feel like I have learned a lot, and can speak/understand quiet a bit now, I've never really got a good grade on a test. First semester spanish 1, I passed with a B, second a C. Now in spanish 2 its worse but I'm still passing. Anyways I want to stop taking it after this (sophmore) year. Is that okay? Would it look really bad? I just dont like the class and I'd rather do something else. Spanish if one of my hardest classes, but if I do stop taking it then, I'd have 2 electives so to I guess "make up for that" then I'd take 2 APs (AP lit, APUSH) What do you guys think? Thanks.
And If I do decide to take Spanish 3 I would only take one AP. soo which one would be better? No spanish but 2 APs or Spanish and one AP? I mean I really dont want to continue with Spanish but if I should then I will...... Also next year for sure im taking Chem, pre-cal and psychology. oh and my gpa last semester was 3.3 and I plan to improve that, plus my goal is to go to a UC

It really depends on where you intend to apply to college. For many two years of the same language is all that is needed. For most high ranks, they expect to see three or four years of the same language. And note, even for many of those for which you need only two, you still need to be C or higher in the course to even have the course count toward the two years…

Don’t worry. Focus in subjects you like!! You will show your true abilities in things you are interested!!
