<p>It really depends. If your school doesn’t have it, then it won’t count against you for sure. Do lots of extracirriculars and try to take the hardest classes that your school does offer (Honors, IB, or whatever equivalent)</p>

<p>(Most) Colleges only consider your class schedule relative to the classes available at your school. So if you don’t have AP classes, just take the most challenging ones possible. Just remember that most applicants at Harvard will have taken numerous AP exams, have good SATs, and high GPAs and still not get in.</p>
