Is it possible for a regular class to be weighted???

So I was looking online for school supplies but happened to stumble upon this pdf where it says the class and the credits given and how many trimesters it is, and prereqs and grades it can be taken in etc.

Wellll, as I was looking I realized that nearly ALL of the classes are full credits? (besides like some obviously) but I had a good screen shot between 2 of the classes and it's between ap world history and regular world history (just random classes I am not taking either of these classes) and it both says 2 trimesters and 1 weighted gpa credit. I thought AP classes were weighted? But apparently regulars are too?

Unless I am confused with the whole credit thing? Please elaborate for me! And also, I am in some pre-ap classes as well, and I thought that pre-ap wouldn't be weighted but apparently they are because I asked the counselor when I signed up for my classes. And I took a couple honors classes in 9th grade and I got a "1" for them instead of the regular ".5" (which I know is semester wise, so technically it would add up to 1 too?)

(PS. I am going to a new school next year and the weighting scale at my old school is the same at my new school)

also sorry I just read this it says this next to weighted gpa:
WEIGHTED GPA – A grade point scale that assigns more points to grades earned in certain classes. Classes that carry weighted credit are all College Board Pre AP (Advanced Placement) and College Board Advanced Placement courses as well as all Pre IB (International Baccalaureate) and International Baccalaureate courses. Opportunities to earn weighted credit are also available in Health Science, Advanced Anatomy and Physiology, and Business Information Management II.

so that confirms that only pre ap, ap, ib, and pre ib classes are weighted? why does it say regulars are weighted the same then?
