anyone think I will be able to break 2100 on the may sat. I feel like I am capable of 700's in all sections. Any suggestion on what to do to prepare for it (I've already done all the tests on the BB). Does anybody have a similar story and were able to get 700's in all the sections?

There are many exams released by the College Board around the internet and on the College Board website. I don’t know a particular place to find them but you can start with the annual (?) practice exam on the College Board website.

It seems that you are very capable of breaking 2100. Even if you do not break 2100, you still have senior year. Taking the real test itself is good practice even if you do not achieve what you want to achieve your second attempt.

I am a little upset by my scores after seeing everyone else’s scores on here (Lol seems like everyone has a 2300+) but of course at my school and to everyone Iv’e talked to, they think i did amazing.

I’ll just keep practicing and hopefully I can go in more relaxed being that I have a decently solid score behind me now.

Thanks again all for the kind words and advice.

It is very possible. I went from a 2000 to a 2160 without any studying. I intend on taking it again though, this time with prep (aiming for around a 2250).

wow 2000 to 2160 without studying. How did u do that? Anything different? Or did you just feel confident taking it again. Anyways I would love to do something like that and thats very inspiring to me. Thanks

@ Linger–I literally had the exact same breakdown as you the first time. I consistently scored 2200+ in practice…and then I got that. I don’t blame you for being disappointed. First of all, are you talking about 2100 super scored? Because If you are, I just accomplished that with no studying, just extra confidence on this one.

Second Sitting:
M: 770
W: 690 (MC: 64 Essay: 11)
R: 590…I think I seriously misbubbled b/c I only had around 5 wrong on the consolidated list…w/e…that’s why nearly all schools superscore.

Anyway, now I have a
M: 770
W: 690
R: 650

Composite: 2110

Not Bad. I’m going to take it again in June; I am aiming for 2200+ (1450+/1600). It’s all about confidence and knowing the test. I am a top student, considered by many to be very very intelligent. I am not the most natural standardized test taker (I tend to over think questions a lot, hence my CR and W MC can be shaky, though my math is solid…because you can’t really overthink a math question…) If you have any questions, I’d be happy to help you out. What schools are you thinking about by the way?

Yes I would like to get a 2100 superscored. Im really glad to hear that you were able to accomplish this feat. I usually get like 730-750 on math in practice tests and I also felt that I could have done much better at reading (I went into the test with a lot on my mind lol). As far as the schools I am looking to apply to, I think that all depends on SAT scores now, because my gpa is solid (3.85 Unweighted at a very competitve school top 5% and I have several extracirriculars one being varsity basketball).

Anyways did you do a lot prep for that 770 math (because that would be huge If i can get that on math). Thanks for the post its really putting things back into perspective for me.
