Is it Possible, In 2 months?

Hello Success Driven Neurotics , of CC, although this is my first post , i come forth barring some much needed information. I took the May Sat and was , like most kids, not pleased with my score . I scored as the following:

CR:530
Math:540
Writing:490 (52MC 6 essay)

Whats frustrating to me( besides my abysmal scores) are that they completely contradict how i perform in school. I get All A'sand am ranked 11/232 kids in my graduating class but with these scored , I doubt colleges will even glance at my application. So I did some research stalking the forums and bought these books : grubers math workbook(is it any good?) and Barrons Math 1 and Physics . Is it even possible for me to score at least a 1900+ on my SAT's This fall and a 650+ on the subject ones? Or am I simply disillusioning myself? Thank you very much. and please give me feedback as much as possible!

I’m assuming you’re a junior. I went from a 160 PSAT my sophomore year to a 2130 SAT score. Now I know that I had a year difference, but yes it’s possible. Take the Blue Book practice tests, and I believe on this forum there are links to 3 more practice tests online. Use these like maybe once or twice a week and focus on each section separately. Know why you get questions wrong and really analyze EVERYTHING. The more you analyze the questions and think about them, the better your thinking process becomes. I did that and it worked, and I’m sure you can too. If you’re not lazy and willing to work at it, it’s definitely possible. Now as far as subject tests, I haven’t taken any so I can’t help there :P

Thanks for responding! and Yes im 100% dedicated. I plan to practice at least 1hr a day and as the exam approaches I’ll be increasing my study time. Could someone please Give an answer as to whether not not the books i chose are going to cut it for my SAT studying?
im really determined to get those scores or even higher! Please keep posting!

I love how you introduced yourself to the CC community
