I'm sick of people telling me that they got a 32+ on the ACT without studying. It makes me feel like a piece of crap. Cause here I am studying my *** off to go from a 30 to a 32. Some of these kids even got a 34 or 35!

I got a 28 my first two times and then got a 32 on my third. I didn’t really study although the fact that I already took it twice really helped.

I’m not sure what kind of answers you are expecting but it won’t really help you either way. Everyone is different, and there are many factors that can help you like taking rigorous classes in school. It also depends what you means by studying. To answer your question, it is possible to get a high score without studying, but it may not be possible for everyone. Maybe you are the type that are do well but just not a very good tester in a way that show your ability. On my ACT, I got a 35C with the only ‘studying’ is taking a practice test the night before to familiarize myself with the test format and went over some grammar rules on the SAT forum here on CC. I hope that you don’t weight too much importance on everyone else’s result but focusing on your own. A 30 or 32 is a good score either way

My opinion: Half the people that get a 32+ do so with little or no study. How? They have great reading skills and are very smart.
