Okay, so I got a 28 and had never picked up a Prep Book before. I'm taking the ACTs again in June and September. Do you think it's possible to raise my score to a 34 with studying?

c’mon guys anybody ever gone up 6 points by studying? I’m so bummed right now. Any tips/stories?

Well, here my story.
The first time I just took it without any studying whatsoever I scored a 19. The second time I paid $55 to go to this ACT workshop at my school, and that’s pretty much all I did and I scored a 22.

I think practice and studying DOES work, having someone to go over the information with you is also a good option.

I barely studied at all first time and got a 28. Just got back results for the second time about 25 minutes ago and got a 31. I studied a decent amount for the second time like maybe 8-10 hours overall, but not nearly as much as I could have obviously. I might take it one more time just to try to get 32+

yea, my first ever practice score i got a 29. that was in early fall. this past december i got a 34 on the actual act, so there is hope. just keep taking practices
