Is it possible to transfer to UCB from another university (non UC)?

just wondering. i'm from a university in SF (USF) and i wanna transfer to UCB in my junior year. but i saw that there are so many requirements to transfer to haas. so, i'm wondering if it's just possible. cuz most of the guides on transferring (on UCB website) are all for community colleges.

8% transfer rate. 7% for CC's. 1% outside transfers. A lot of outside kids apply from top schools like Northwestern, etc. I would say you have a bad chance.

Don't let this discourage you from applying though, be sure to get a 4.0 and take a rigorous courseload. If you like business, ther's Marshal at USC.

Your name isn't Matt Chavez is it?

on the haas website:
Applications Received 1314
Eligible Applicants 443*
Offers of Admission 96
Entering Class Size 93

871 applicants did not show planned completion of the admission requirements and were considered ineligible. Of the 443 eligible applicants, 96 were offered admission.

the actual transfer rate if you complete all the prereqs and are eligible is 96/443 which is around 21%

ok.... so that means it is possible to transfer right?
how can i know if my courses that i'm currently taking in USF are transferrable to UCB?
also, does UCB only accept junior transfers or is it possible to transfer as a sophomore?

no sophomore transfers allowed only junior transfers

ok, so how can i know which courses in USF are actually transferable to UCB?

I'm not sure if there is any way that you can know. I don't think USF is on assist.org

It depends.... to be honest most classes will transfer unless you are taking some serious BS classes. Chemistry is Chemistry, Calculus is Calculus. It is possible to transfer to UCB from any school, do your best in college and get the best possible grades and you will have as good at getting in!

OMG… i just saw that it’s a lot easier to transfer to UCB from community college and CSU’s… what should I do guys…
Should I just transfer to a comm college next year (sophomore year)?

I was at SDSU my first year. I decided I would be happier at a UC school, so I have been attending a ccc for the past year to increase my chance. I applied as a winter transfer. I hope like hell it pays off.
