is it possible

okay I've been told by my bro im a bad writer, i was accepted to riverside so you can figure what kind of student i was in high school

im going to do very good in ccc and i wanted to work on my writing skills...do you think some one who sucks at essays can improve in 2 years and be considered a good writer by application time?

and how would i do it? i bought a book on writing well but stopped after 60 pages because i dont think ill follow on his ways...also i had my first research paper and put no effort into improving myself

I think so. Basically, take a writing course. Then work on grammar. After the grammar falls into place, you'll be golden. That's probably the only obstacle holding you back. :)

For example, grammar is something that can be easily fixed. Just study it and work at it.
