Is it realistic...

I screwed up in high school and I'm paying the price by going to a CC. I'm not going to get into why I screwed up but my SAT's are over 2000 and I've taken 6 classes through dual enrollment and so far have a 4.0. I have the ability, but I'm just upset I screwed up so much in HS which resulted in an embarrassing GPA. I want to attend Yale or Columbia. What would give me a good shot at gaining acceptance?

Well, first you need to be more confident. Second, try to get into a lot of EC’s. Third, transfer to a University as soon as possible. Go to an average University for a year, do well there, and you will have a good shot at Yale or Columbia. Also, I would widen your list a bit. There are many other great schools available that you would have a chance at if you did not get accepted at Yale or Columbia; NYU, Northwestern, USC, UCLA, and many others.

^ Thank you. What are some schools that would accept me after a sem or two at my CC (provided I do well)?
