Is it really hard to transfer from CAS to Stern?

I’ve read so many times how difficult it is to do so but I’ve also read some points refuting that and saying its not as hard as people make it out to be. What is the current landscape for internal transfer from CAS (Econ which is what I applied to) to Stern?

This has been discussed ad nauseum on this board. Yes, it is really as hard as everyone says. So if you applied to CAS hoping for an easy backdoor into Stern, then you are out of luck.
