I saw that on BU’s undergraduate majors webpage there’s a video named “it’s ok to be undecided.” This gave me the impression that BU welcomes students applying as undecided, which is quite surprising as I thought a lot of school don’t like undecided students.
So my question is, is it really ok to be undecided? Will applying as undecided hurt my chances of getting in? And if any of you applied undecided and got in, what programs or guide did you receive from BU to help you find your major?
Thanks a lot!
Are you completely undecided or are you undecided in arts and sciences, undecided in engineering etc.?
I am one of those people who was honestly against applying undecided, but then I talked to one of the admissions reps from BU and she confirmed: something like half of their admits for CAS are undecided. At BU, it’s really OK.
