<p>the people I know who’ve gotten into Harvard are all well-rounded individuals with social lives. how great it was really depends on your definition of a great social life. one was an athletic recruit and partied a lot. most of them went hung out on weekends or did sports that amounted to a good deal of social time.</p>

<p>And a social life + academics is definitely possible. It’s just a matter of finding balance in your life.</p>
