Is it recommended that I send these SAT subject scores to UC schools?

Literature: 560
Biology M: 610

I know they're horrid, but I didn't study and UC requires scores sent by 12/31. I honestly don't know if I should send it. On their application, I did say that these tests were planned. Does this mean I have to send it regardless?

I don't want them to reject me because of this. I have a 3.9 unweighted GPA (IB diploma candidate) and I've never gotten a B in biology or language arts and I've never gotten an A- before, too. I had grade averages of over 93% (and these were IB classes, too!). But based on my SAT scores, 1860, it's pretty obvious that I just suck at standardized test taking. Do you recommend me sending these to University of California schools, still?

I would go with yes since it at least shows you were brave enough to take it and since you reported it I’m not exactly sure you have a choice.

Thanks! I’ll go do that.

I dunno. I got around 600 in Math and Physics, and decided not to send.

I’m thinking - I think it’s better not to show any score, rather than showing a (relatively) weak score. And I’m sure most people who take the subject test will get a good score - it’s usually optional, and they get to take the subject they like. They’re bound to get higher scores.
