I have two well written essays. Now one is better than the other so I would obviously send that one but should I also include the other one? Will that work to my advantage to send 2? 1 weaker and 1 stronger? Or should I stick to the stronger one? Both essays deal with different aspects about me

It is a disadvantage to send more essays than the application requests. More ACCOMPLISHMENTS are great. But more essays won’t made admissions officers happy. They have thousands to read already.

The common application essay is obviously a required part of your application. The supplemental essay is optional. You should only include it if you shows another side of you. It has to be very well written; not writing one at all is better than sending a weak essay.

While it is also well written but my problem is my friends are saying one of them is better than the other. So should I just stick to one?

That’s a decision only you can make. Sending an amazing second essay could strengthen your application, but a weak essay could weaken it.
