I am now ending my second year of college. I suppose I should count my blessings.. my grades are improving from my poor freshman year, and I managed to get involved with a few organizations. But I am still really unhappy all the time. I feel like I like a solid unit of friends. I small groups of friends here and there, but lack a big group, making me feel lonely a lot of the time here at UF. I regret not joining a fraternity my freshman year. Would it be too late to join one? Does anyone have any experience with joining one your fall of junior year? Are there any pre-professional fraternities I could possibly join? I'm a pre-med student and feel that maybe something related to my field would be cool.. can someone help me out? or maybe offer some suggestions for something I can do to alleviate my loneliness here? I feel like I lack a niche on campus...

If you have a minimum overall and science G.P.A. of 3.2, you can look into Alpha Epsilon Delta, a pre-health honor society. It’s a co-ed community service fraternity

Do you have any friends(or classmates) who are in fraternities? They could answer your questions.

Good Luck!

Seems like you need to join more clubs and get involved more. That will keep you busy and provide you with a social circle.
