<p>I know i should have applied earlier but things have been hectic (and by that i mean i'm a lazy couch potato) I was wondering if i still have a chance at the engineering school if i applied to college park?</p>

<p>If you’re looking at engineering, then no. UMD says that all applicants interested in any engineering major should apply by the Nov. 1 deadline. If you’re looking at less competitive majors then go ahead. If you apply for engineering now anyway, I guarantee you’ll be wait listed.</p>
