Is it too late to register for an AP test?

I missed my school’s registration deadline for AP testing by about a week. The College Board website says all orders have to be submitted before April 17th. I’m basically panicking right now because I’m on spring break and am having trouble contacting the testing coordinator at my school. Can I still register? What do I do?
