I just got deferred from my top choice, Northeastern. I have good credentials but my SAT score is low for their standards, with a 2010. I have heard so many good things about the ACT and I am wondering if I will be able to take the February ACT and possibly send those scores to Northeastern if they are significantly better than my SATs. With the deferral email, they said that we can submit extra test scores and that we will be notified if we are admitted by April 1st. So, could I take the ACT in February and have the scores in to Northeastern by the time they start reviewed RD applicant? I don't want to bother by admissions counselor with this question.

Northeastern will take your Feb 2015 ACT for RD.

thank you very much

You’re welcome. I know a student in the same boat. She called yesterday to ask the same question.
