I was just wondering -- is it too late for me to change my SAT II's for June to be an SAT test? I need to take both regardless, and I feel like with 6 days left and no studying, I'm already doomed.

Is it too late for me to nail an 800 for my three subjects? Math II, US, and Bio E/M? I've got a chem and bio final Monday and Tuesday, which basically means I have Wednesday-Friday to study for SAT II's and that's pretty much it. Has anyone been in this scenario; what do you guys recommend?

Thank you.. any feedback will be appreciated, I need to take every SAT date with as much caution and preparation as possible.

Indeed I feel your pain. Also, we’re taking the same tests. I’m sure you’re fine for math… not much you can do there but practice questions and problems. If you’ve got a bio final, the studying from that will help you for the SAT. And for US, not sure how much of it you’ve had, but if you could read several chapters a night starting tomorrow (along with studying for your finals of course) you’ll probably be set. If you don’t feel prepared at all for one of them its best to take 2 out of 3 and do well on those.

US History is manageable by then. Depending on your skills in math you may be fine without much prep anyway. Biology would be difficult to master by then. Remember, you don’t have to take all three tests this test administration.

Would it be smarter to take literature instead of biology E/M? I have to retake the SAT in October and November, so I’m hoping this will be my first [and last] SAT II try… but I believe a lot of colleges want a science SAT?

Well, if you’re already in Bio why not take that? I’ve heard Literature is very hard, but if you’re good at English that might be a better option. Also, less studying might be involved because you either know how to do it or you don’t. Bio you have to memorize.

I don’t think college prefer science or anything. Otherwise there wouldn’t be english and history options.

Yeah, I am in IB Bio, but the first semester is pretty much a blur to me – I get the genetics stuff we’re working on now. That’s why I’m a bit worried (took a Barrons mini-diagnostic today and I got like a 490, lol. Then again I guessed on a ton since we haven’t covered half the material…)

But thanks… is it true I can change tests on the Saturday?
