Is it true, no Subject Tests required for UC's for 2012 graduates?

<p>Is it true, no Subject Tests required for UC's for 2012 HS graduates and after?? If so, will they be optional to help you get in or do they not care at all?</p>

<p>Are any other schools doing this?</p>

<p>My daughter is a junior and was going to sign up for the June test but if she doesn't need it, than I guess she will skip it!</p>

<p>They will not be required, but will only strengthen the application if the scores are good.</p>
