Yes they did. It looked really cool.

Lol, I guess I don't remember well enough. I just remember being excited because it came.

This is just speculation, but I'm guessing that the e-mail subject will give away the decision as well. For my grad school apps in EE, some schools sent their decisions by e-mail, which are posted below. And before you ask, Berkeley EECS is more selective than Stanford EE for grad.
Stanford: "Congratulations!" (accepted)
Berkeley: "UC Berkeley Decision" (rejected)
Princeton: "Your Admission to Princeton" (accepted)

haha i just turned off the snippets on my gmail...guess i did that for no reason if the subject is gonna give it away. AHHHH!

once I got a rejection letter that had the word "congratulations" somewhere in the first paragraph. it was horribly trippy. grrr

Turned off snippets AND made a filter to divert it from my inbox. I guess I'll know decisions came out when Avalon calls me screaming that she got it.

i made 3 filters for each possibility - screw waiting to see the subject line.

Do you want me to call you in India, then?

im_blue, what were your EE undergrad stats? I'm majoring in it right now as an undergrad and am curious to know what kind of stats I need.

NEVER!!! Just leave me a cell message. I leave for India on the 16th...You'll get a call from me b4 then, though

Will do! (10 characters)

I doubled majored in Computer Engineering and Math at UIUC, graduating in 2.5 years with a 3.9 GPA. My research experience was pretty mediocre - one summer REU and a one-semester honors project. I think the average undergrad GPA for Stanford EE is around a 3.9.
