I applied EA. Someone else asked this about another school, but does anyone know what the acceptance letter envelopes look like as opposed to the rejections? I need to prepare 2 months in advance for disappointment. Ha ha.

Thanks!

I think the rejection is going to be orange and the acceptance is brown. Just remember the acceptance would be heavier than the rejection :). I think i might get the orange light one, but i hope to get the brown heavy one :)

Thanks! And good luck. How do you know, by the way?

Acceptance leeters come in big white envelopes with CONGRATULATIONS in big red letters written on them. Last year they were sent by Fedex, so that envelope was inside a standart Fedex envelope. I am not sure about rejections.

Hmm. Again, I got totally different replies. Which is it?

looks different every year, i heard, both in color and size.

some dude i know didnt even get his acceptance letter...for WEEKS...got lost in the mail or something. man thats gotta suck (although he found out by phone anyways)

That sounds like something that will likely happen to me. Or I'll be one of those people like at Northwestern (?) who got the accidental acceptance letters. Ha ha.

what happened at northwestern?

I think it was Northwestern. They sent about about 100 or so false acceptance letters to people who'd been rejected.

Do they notify us via email too?

oh thats horrible!!!

marlgirl.. i havent heard that they do.

Email seems unreliable. Is it posted on the website or anything? I don't think I can wait for the mail to come...

lol looks like you dont have a choice! hahaha, oh well.. we will all be quesy (even though i say i know im not in)

I'm pretty sure no e-mail. I am going to dread that letter. Do they send a preliminary thin letter or a thick letter to acceptees?

guessing thin for me, and thick for accepted people.
