Is it violating college score choice policy?

background info: It is October
you took march SAT, June SAT and will take Oct SAT

so you send your scores (March and June), is it violating score choice policy since you technically have not reported ALL of your scores?

and/or do you have to report the Oct SAT?

What you asked is contradictory.

You can either report all scores (option 1) OR you do score choice and only report your best from each section (option 2). Figure out the college policy and send accordingly.

but the thing is you haven’t taken Oct yet so how can you report a score that doesn’t exist or hasn’t been released yet?

If you haven’t taken it yet, then obviously you can’t be expected to send the score. If you take the test and receive the score before sending in your application, make the necessary adjustments. Otherwise, just include the scores you have taken so far.

What you are asking is whether you need to send a future score if you have already complied with a college’s anit-score choice policy by sending all scores when you took a prior test. More precisely, a question that has been asked by others is what if I apply to college in November and at that time order all scores that CB has for me sent so my application is complete by December, do I then have to also send Dec or even Jan test score if I take one of those tests?

The answer is that it is not clear and you should read each school’s policies carefully. A number of them don’t just say they are anti-score choice but instead say you must send all scores. So one would assume you need to send those additonal test scores. However, some of those same school’s say they don’t accept the Jan test? So ultimately the answer may be “who the heck knows” and you either have to call the school for clarification or just make your own choice.

^^^lol; I like the “who the heck knows answer”…

Gotta love score choice…

Agree w drusba
