I'm a college senior, however I can't afford to pay for my last tuition due to several reasons:
-Can't find a job
-Family can't help
-Bad credit, nobody wants to co-sign for student loans
-School and government gave me all I could get for aid.
-family says I can't live with them anymore in order to commute and save

I know that its stupid to transfer when someone only has three months left in order to graduate. I've thought about transferring to another state to complete my undergraduate career.

What should someone who can't afford their last term or semester due to financial issues?

Most colleges won’t accept more than a certain number of credits as a transfer in order to have a degree from that college. It makes sense if the university name is to mean anything at all to have the students be there for a large part of the time. If you transfer you may lose a year or more of credit and it won’t save you time or money.
Talk to the financial aid office. You may have to take a leave of absence and work for a while and then return or they may have a part time option where you can work and finish your degree over a period of time. If you are a senior- and are 22 - then I think in 2 years you are officially independent and can get more financial aid. It would take you another year to change state residencies. If you are OOS you can probably get in state status if you work there for a while.

With 3+ years invested in your degree- it is worth finishing up at the college you are at- even if it takes a little longer.
