is it WISE to transfer to cornell for pre-med?

the college i am now attending (CUNY Honors at Hunter) is decent and rising in name (free tuition, dorm in NYC, laptop and stipend for studying abroad). I'm set on my academic path with what classes I am taking and actually found room to study abroad as well..but nothing can beat cornell with its high reputation and motivating student body.
I'm planning on going pre-med, applied to cornell and got accepted, i'm thinking whether it would be a wise choice to transfer to cornell or not under this field.. it's a no brainer that cornell is tough, but being pre-med in cornell, with its difficult leveled classes and fierce competition among equally smart students, is way tougher in its own perspective.

also, due to different AP scores rating, i might have to take a few courses that i should have taken as a freshman..even if i can graduate in 4 yrs it'll be a bumpy road...

1) anything important i should know about being pe-med in cornell?

2) is it wise to transfer in my case to transfer to cornell?? (human ec, human bio, health and society program)

i'm really confused guys, and I want to hear out as many thoughts as possible, in hope that it would help me come to a decision, thanks

I'm in the same boat, albeit not in NY, but debating whether it's worth giving up the school i'm at for premed at cornell
