Is it Worth going ED?

<p>With my stats, do you think I should go ED? I really like Duke for its BioMedEng program and its overall research ventures.
So here are some stuffs about me:
ACT: 32 with writing
SAT2: i've only taken one (IIC and physics in october)-chem:740
Class Rank: top 10%ish
Significant Awards:
-04/05 Siemens Westinghouse Regional Finalist-11th grade
-03/04 Siemens Westinghouse Semifinalist - 10th Grade
-Many other science research awards
-2 patent pending from this past summer</p>

<p>researched this past summer at Albert Einstein College of Medicine with two different projects: one in radiobiology/biodosimetry, and the other in proteomics/cancer research</p>

<p>So that's me in short....should I go ED?</p>

<p>If duke is someones 1st choice I don't see why anyone would not apply ED, unless they thought they might get flat out rejected because their grades/SAT scores were too low and they needed some time to bring them up. So ya I would apply early, I don't see how it can hurt (maybe hurt your chances at other schools, but certainly not at Duke)</p>
