Is it worth including a low-hour internship in my activities section?

This summer I was the only intern for a local lawmaker in my town. They didn’t give me a schedule or office; I just did work remotely as assigned. I got a few good projects done, but on average I only “worked” 7 hours a week.

I obviously don’t want to fabricate my app, so is it worth including this experience on my activities list even if it’s seemingly very low-commitment compared to most other summer internships/jobs? I’m worried schools will see the “7 hrs” under the activity and wonder why I didn’t do more.

Yes of course it is. Describe what you did.

Use the proper description for hours provided on common.

Many activities are less than 7 hrs a week.

Make sure you describe properly your tasks and achievements.

List everything you got and leave it up to the Aos to decide their worth. It’s awesome you did this BTW!
