Hours per Week Too Low?

Hey all,
So I submitted the Common App way back in October, and now that my Early Action notification dates are creeping up, I was wondering if I screwed up on my hours/week section for the Common App. My total hours/week (barring activities that only go on for part of the year) is ~20. I know this is 4 hours a day which seems like a lot, but something is telling me that I still might have underreported some of these activities, or that colleges will look at these ECs and decide that they do not show enough "dedication". Any help for a stressed out applicant? Thanks!

If you don’t get in, send in a correction with proof from whoever you were working for. You could call in to your schools and see if they will still accept them now. Best of luck!

Hours per week are not a critical factor and regardless of how things go in the early round, you don’t need to stress about this nor bring it to the attention of any of your schools. If you are off by a factor of 10 or 20% or even 30% in your estimate of hours, it will make no difference to the decisions. More important is the substance of what you wrote in the activities section - what leadership roles you had and where you have spent your time when out of class. Contrary to the advice above, you certainly should not draw attention to this section of your app by trying to submit proof of participation in your activities.
