I got into the honors college and I wanted to know if it was worth it to live in the honors dorm. Can anyone tell me the general vibe of the honors dorm?
I have the same question – anyone out there with advice on the honors dorm? Benefits? drawbacks?
I actually toured the honors dorm about a week and a half ago and I really liked it. It’s away from the center of campus and really close to the Northwest Quad and the book store. The dorm itself looks great. It was very clean. The dorm rooms are smaller than they look on the website but the bathrooms on each floor have a lot of privacy despite being public.
My daughter was part of the first class in the newly remodeled dorm. She liked the facility. She found her dorm mates a lot of fun while still having the ability to go to the study areas right before tests. Her biggest complaint was the long walk (uphill both ways) when the weather was bad. A bike would help.
