I've taken the SAT twice already and I'm signed up to take it again in October. Here are my scores:

First time: 720 CR 720 M 800 W (2240 total)
Second time: 800 CR 690 M 740 W (2230 total)

I'm applying to the University of California (in-state) and I know that they only look at individual sittings and not super scores. However, I also know that you are required to send in all of your sittings when you apply. Here's my question: is it worth it to go ahead and take the SAT again? I know that I'm already signed up, but I've talked about it with my mom and she's fine with me not taking it again, so that's not a problem. Will it hurt my chances of admission to the UCs if I take the SAT again and do worse? I'm hoping that I have a shot at Cal and UCLA, but my UW GPA is not really stellar so I'm not very confident.

Somewhat related: I can change to the SAT II if I want to. I got a 740 on US History last May, but I didn't feel like I had done my best on the exam. Should I try to take the US History SAT II again, or should I just let my score lie?

Thank you so much!
