I've been accepted as a transfer to a school that is apparently in a completely different league then the one I am currently in. The problem is, I've grown to like it here very much. I play football and am in ROTC and have made very close friends in both programs. The academics may not be the best in the country, but I've been very successful here and there are a lot of academic and internship opportunities despite the slight weakness of the school. I was not in the honors program this year but was accepted during this semester and I will be participating in it if I'm still here next year.

This basically is addressed to students in the past who have transferred. Has it been worth it? Uprooting myself and starting all over again seems daunting and perhaps not really worth it.

My current school is Catholic University. I've been accepted to William and Mary and I'm waiting on a few others.

Thoughts?
