Is it worth studying abroad for 4 years undergrad?

I’m currently an 18 year old senior living in the US. I have traveled alone to many places and I’ve been considering studying abroad so I decided to apply. I just found out that I got a great scholarship that will help pay for an American university located in Switzerland but I don’t think I’m weighing all of the pros and cons. If I accept, I will be traveling back and forth over breaks which will add up fast. It’s also just my undergraduate year so I’m not sure if I should take the scholarship now or just wait until I’m older.

Will your family be able to pay the remaining costs for a university in Switzerland? How does this option compare to your options in the United States?

How good is that university? Does it have an alumni network in the US? What majors does it offer? Does it offers enough classes - can you look at the spring schedule?

Did you apply to other universities? Especially universities with strOng study abroad programs such as Dickinson or Kalamazoo?
