Is it worth using your AP Biology exam credits or should you just take the class?

ESPECIALLY if you intend on doing a pre-med/bio-engineering/ other life science track

Most medical schools do want to see actual college biology courses, so if you skip the introductory course(s), you need to take advanced ones (including enough labs as the medical schools require).

If you are considering skipping and taking more advanced courses, check your college to see if old introductory biology final exams are available for you to try to check your knowledge against the college’s course. Browse the catalog to find the course number(s) of the course(s) that may be skipped, then put the course number and “final exam” in the search box on the web site.

Thanks!
