Okay, in november, I prepped for the SAT I by using 11 test book by Princetonreview. I was surprised to see in the test that Princetonreview was more difficult than the real SAT (in a good way because it pushed up my score).

Because I'm going to take it again in June 7th, I bought 12 tests book by Kaplan (because I finished the previous one). I tried one practice test and for me, it seemed easier than Princetonreview's.

Is that because it just is, or is that because my overall skill improved over the last 6 months?

(ps: I hope kaplan is not easier than the real thing.. because that would not prepare me in anyway at all)

Well, i think princeton is easier than real test and kaplan is very wierd..
so your skill must be improved during that time

I don't think there's much to say about Kaplan, except that you're wasting your time if you're using their practice tests.

hmm? what is so bad about kaplan?

The questions dont much up with the real ones, lots of errors in the back, too easy, etc.

If you want to use Kaplan, then I'm not going to stop you or anything, but you'll know what I mean when you take the actual test in June or October or whenever and find out that your score has improved by 50 points if you're lucky.

It looks like you're willing to work hard, and there are lots of better ways to raise your score.

I really hope you have taken the blue book tests.

well there's the possibility that you have improved since then so it feels easier, psychological thing.

I liked the Princton review's tests. The CR was ok but overall it helped me alot.

that is a shame, since I invested in a kap. book...

would it particularly hurt me if i keep using Kaplan with some other book, like... the blue book (collegeboard)?
