Kaplan SAT

Are these prac. tests just way easier than the actual SAT or something? I feel like this book taught me nothing.. no help on the geometry section or anything.

What SAT book should I get instead? :/

Yeah, the Kaplan test was way easier for me, too.
First, you should get the official “blue” book, published by the CollegeBoard.
It should be around the same difficulty as the actual test.

Some of the ones I felt that were harder than the real one were
-Barron’s
-McGraw-Hill
While the difficulty of the different Barron’s tests is general the same (meaning they’re all hard),
that of McGraw-Hill’s tests varies. (some are hard, some are okay.)
Get these, especially Barron’s, if you want the real test to seem “easier.”

I haven’t tried the other companies’ books, so I’m not sure about them.
Good luck :]

Kaplan did nothing for my first SAT compared to my PSAT.

I got JUST the blue book, and i think i did pretty well on my first SAT

Kaplan for me was just not useful at all.

I did terrible on my first one, and hoping to self-study to get it up on my second one.

I heard Princeton Review does a great job though.
