Is kelley worth paying 40k a year? I just got in as a standard admit but I'm realizing now that IU is very expensive. What do you guys think?

Congratulations on getting into Kelley.

Indycar kid, this doesn’t answer your question, but you got in and had at least two B- grades, in finite and X100?

If you can attend a school that’s in your home state with less tuition or another school that gives good FA I’d probably advise it over Kelley. IU is just getting WAY too expensive and while the Kelley degree is prestigious enough, I don’t think it’s enough to justify paying 40K OOS. Then again, I am at IU and paying OOS tuition (with a good amount of loans too) and I think the experience and education I’m getting is well worth it. It really depends on how much you and your parents are willing to spend on an undergraduate degree.

bthomp, I actually got in with 3 B- grades (K201,M118, and X100). And I think i might take a look a CC for a semester and then transfer into a state school. IU might be a little to expensive

Thanks for sharing, indycar. Shows that even a few B-'s might not keep you out of Kelley. Good luck with your decision.
