<p>I just got accepted to Leadership Week, but there is hardly any information about it online. Is this going to be something that could actually boost my resume, or will it do next to nothing? I have to leave my family and friends a week early to be a part of this program, so I want to make sure it's really worth my time.</p>
So sorry to be reviving a super old thread but I couldn’t send you a private message for some reason and I was wondering how was your experience at Leadership Week? I’m in the same dilemma this year about whether or not to go!
My son attended Leadership Week in 2013. I can’t say that the program actually boosted his resume, but he was able to mooov-in early (at no additional cost) at a time in the summer when most of his high school friends had already left for college. He made some new friends and got to experience college life at UT a few days before the mass mooov-in happened. I would recommend it. And it’s kind of late to decline your attendance at a program that starts in a week. Just go and enjoy the experience.
