My schools offers around 14 Ap's but you can't take any Sophomore year. They also don't offer AP languages (Spanish). They do offer IB spanish but I couldn't take it because it's a two year course and Spanish 6 wouldn't fit into my schedule. I could've taken 2 more AP classes but I'm very passionate about yearbook so I didn't want to give that up! I took 1/2 of the Ap math classes, 3/5 of the sciences, 2/2 of the englishs, 2/3 of the histories, and 1/2 of the electives.

Your junior year looks identical to my D’s with the exception of yearbook. She is taking Latin along with Spanish. She was told by admissions advisors that her course load was actually more than enough for UVA and was given the suggestion to take a fun class because the rest of the schedule was so difficult.

I think you are fine as long as the grades are where they need to be.

@Apalapa we only have AP physics B! @wherezwallance I’ve gotten straight A’s in all my Junior and Senior classes except APUSH which is known as one of the hardest classes at our school because of the teacher (he actually attended UVA and wrote my a rec). The only thing I’m worried about is the IB diploma is offered at our school but only 22 people do it and is known to be just as hard or even less hard than AP classes. The only thing is they HAVE to take more IB classes for the diploma but they are very easy. The other thing I’m worried about is I didn’t take Spanish 6 (didn’t fit in my schedule and didn’t think about informing the admission officers). I just hope they will understand I took another science class to make up for it! ah so nervous
