what's the min CR score and ACT score i need to get in order to get into these colleges?

thank you.

Wow, looks like you definitely had some trouble with the standardized tests. You are in luck, though. Penn State University Park's decision is 2/3 gpa and 1/3 SAT. Your gpa is very good, which will definitely be a big help. Just make sure to study hard and try to get that SAT score up as much as you can and make sure to get the application in AS EARLY AS YOU CAN. The admission is rolling, so it only gets harder the longer you wait.

thank you jec. what about purdue, whats my chance for purdue?

Have you tried studying for those standardized tests?

I mean, go to a book store, buy two books for around $15 each, and do around 10 practice tests?

Honestly, I think anyone should be able to get a 1800 minimum if they just put the time and effort into it.

Im not trying to be pretentious, as I do not know your situation but just checking.

"Honestly, I think anyone should be able to get a 1800 minimum if they just put the time and effort into it."

^How do you figure that? I'm open to your theory, but the average score is 1500 and collegeboard says practicing only helps so much.

No, actually i really didn't study for it that much, so i am going to sacrifice my summer to study for those tests. If i get a 23 or higher on the ACT, whats my chance for getting accepted to purdue? thank you

anyone knows purdue's policy of admission?

I dont think it is as concrete as Penn States 2/3 GPA, etc. A 23 ACT score would put you at the 25% mark for Purdue. I think you could probably get in with that score and your grades but I'd try to get around 24-25 to be more sure. As for SAT you would probably have to bring it into the 500+ range for each section but worth a shot.
