@skieurope Agreed…a “good” schedule is just one that fully explores available opportunities
Junior Schedule:
AP English Lang and Comp
AP Calculus BC
AP World History
AP Biology Double Period - no single period.
French 5 - no honors
Spanish for Spanish Speakers 3
@PurePhysics
lol wait varsity baseball a class?
also your schedule post does kinda seem like it was intended for an ego boost
but actually, how are you taking actual classes as a senior… i tried and like, well i just stopped lol - senioritis too op
@OP
i’m pretty sure it’s competitive, but it does really depend on your school/opportunities and your target (i.e. if you’re shooting for your local community college or HYPMS). but my advice would be take what you enjoy. if you enjoy math like PurePhysics, then take a shitload of math classes (or, if you find olympiad math more interesting than college math which seems to be just a load of definitions so far, participate in some competitions instead)
also, watch anime
OP Here , My School offers about close to 20 possible AP Classes and I want to take as many as I can while also not trying to overdo it , I have already pretty much have finished 2 (APEL and APWH). My GPA puts me within the top 25-30 percent , with the highest person having a 4.67 GPA for this year . I believe I fare well against others in my class rank , which also consists of a 1000 students (Very Large HS) . Very Few tend to load up on AP or IB courses offered here , so I tried to make my Junior year schedule (below) as competitive as possible :in order to remain competitive to others and the IB students (I Did not want to do IB) .
AP Lit Comp
AP Psychology
AP Us History
Chemistry
Spanish 3
Alg 2
So in Senior year , I plan on doing
AP GovPol
AP Art History
AP Chemistry
Accelerated Pre-Calculus
SL English 1 / English 12 (APEL And Lit are only AP English courses)
AP Bio / Regular Physics / AP Env Sci
Aside from not having taken SATs or ACT yet , I am aiming to attend a UC , SDSU ( close to home) , or an out of state , such as Boston University . I also am mulling whether to self study AP Comp Sci or not , I am really intrested in that field . COMMUNITY COLLEGE IS NOT A OPTION FOR ME ! Any advice/tips/recommendations for this scenario would be heavily appreciated , Thanks !
