My current plan is to get my BS in resource conservation (watershed hydrology concentration maybe) at UMT [forestry degree] and go on to complete an MS in international conservation and development also a forestry degree I'll complete my ms while in the peace corps, abroad somewhere, after a year or 2 at UMT.. I suppose. http://www.cfc.umt.e...CD/Default.aspx

My question is, is this a good direction to go in? It seems like watershed hydrology is a solid, marketable skill? I also want to pick uo a certificate in GIS while I am completing the BS.

The BS is also designed to meet Federal Civil Service Requirements

PS the MS is also in rescouce conservation. international conservation and development is just the option.

I have a feeling someone is going to say, master in watersaahed hydrology too. Here are the forestry graduate degrees offered at UMT:

Masters of Science in Forestry
Masters of Science in Recreation Management
Masters of Science in Resource Conservation
Masters of Science in Wildlife Biology
Master of Ecosystem Managment

Graduate Studies in International Conservation and Development

PhD. in Forestry
PhD. in Fish and Wildlife Biology

Certificate - Natural Resources Conflict Resolution Program

Many concentrations are available. [Graduate Degree Programs](Graduate Programs)
